Tinubu at 2 Years in Office: “The Reforms Are Working”

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in a nationwide broadcast to mark two years in office, declared that the economic and governance reforms under his Renewed Hope Agenda are beginning to yield tangible results. The President addressed the nation on May 29, 2025, reassuring Nigerians that the worst is behind and the path to a stronger, inclusive Nigeria is clear.

“We are laying the foundation for a more sustainable future…together, we are creating a system where prosperity is shared, and no one is left behind,” Tinubu said.

  • Economic Stabilisation: Inflation is easing, oil sector investments have topped $8bn, and real GDP growth hit 4.6% in Q4 2024.
