The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a fresh ₦15 reduction in the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) across Nigeria.
The new price regime, revealed via the company’s official social media handle on Thursday, adjusts fuel prices to between ₦875 and ₦905 per litre, depending on the region.
New Petrol Prices by Region:

North-West & Central: ₦895
-
North-East, South-East & South-South: ₦905
This development affects major fuel marketers partnered with Dangote, including MRS, Ardova, Heyden, Optima Energy, Techno Oil, and Hyde Energy.
“Our petrol is refined for better engine performance and is environmentally friendly,” the company stated.

This price cut comes shortly after independent oil marketers resumed large-scale fuel importation, with over 496 million litres of petrol brought into Nigeria between May 11 and 20, 2025, according to maritime tracking data.
The company, through its spokesperson Anthony Chiejina, reaffirmed its mission to ease consumer burden and boost the economy with stable and affordable fuel.
