Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan Denies Allegations by US-Based Activist
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of Kogi Central has firmly denied claims made by U.S.-based activist Dr. Sandra Duru (aka Professor Mgbeke), calling the accusations “entirely untrue” following a viral Facebook live session where Duru alleged attempts to frame Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Suspended lawmaker Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central District, has described the allegations levelled against her by a United States-based activist, Dr. Sandra Duru, also known as Professor Mgbeke, as entirely untrue.
This statement comes in response to a Facebook live session held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, where Dr. Duru released audio evidence of alleged phone conversations between herself and the senator.
The activist claimed that Senator Natasha tried to recruit her into a plot to frame the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, for sexual harassment and organ trafficking.
According to Dr. Duru, after noticing that the sexual harassment allegation wasn’t making progress, Senator Natasha allegedly offered her a bribe to escalate the claim by accusing Akpabio of organ harvesting. The claim reportedly involved linking him to the mysterious death of a young girl from a few years ago.
So far, Senator Natasha has dismissed the allegations as baseless and politically motivated, maintaining that she had no involvement in any such plot.
Further statements from both parties or law enforcement may follow as the matter continues to gain public attention.
