Born on December 4, 1996, in Porto, Portugal, Jota carved his name into European football with talent, tenacity, and explosive attacking skills. A right-footed forward capable of playing across the frontline, he rose through the ranks in Portugal before making a significant impact in England.

Jota joined Liverpool FC from Wolverhampton Wanderers on September 19, 2020, becoming a key part of Jürgen Klopp’s attacking lineup. As of May 2025, his market value stood at €40 million, having peaked at €60 million in December 2021. He extended his contract with Liverpool in August 2022, set to run until 2027.
